Do you need a photo suitable for publication, online or print? Perhaps I can help. I’ve worked both sides of the industry, as a magazine editor and web designer and also as a photographer. Clients have included National Geographic books, Sunset magazine, Alaska magazine, numerous book publishers and much more. Since I live in El Dorado County in Northern California, I have access to the Sierra Nevada and also to Sacramento, and the Sierra Nevada foothills, so much of my collection is from this area. Over the years I’ve amassed a collection of nearly 200,000 carefully screened images. Strong subjects include Coloma and the California Gold Rush, the ghost town of Bodie, Southeast Alaska (especially Juneau, Wrangell, Petersburg, bears, eagles and whales), Ecuador (the Galapagos, Amazon and Cloud Forest), and Tanzania. Some of the galleries on this site showcase some of these images.
If the images are in my collection, I can promptly provide galleries, and then upload the high resolution images of your choice via email, Hightail (formerly YouSendIt.com) or Dropbox. I also have hundreds of high-resolution photos available for download here. Fees at this site are set according to several categories of usage. Other fees depend on circulation and placement. Also, over 1300 art prints are available here. You can order prints and framed images, but not high res downloads for publication.
Model releases are available for many of my people images. I can add caption information either as metatags or in a separate document–your choice.
