
Heading north, we enter the land of glaciers for which Glacier Bay National Park is aptly named. After a few hours we arrive at Reid Glacier, unique in that the terminus is accessible by foot at low tide. (Just a few years ago, it was a tidewater glacier calving its bergs directly into the sea.)
