Petersburg 2006

Time was limited in this always special town, home to a sizeable commercial fishing fleet, but a quick evening stroll revealed a few special moments. At upper left, Hammer Slough at low tide. Upper right: the fisherman's memorial, honoring the many who have died because of the difficult work involved with commercial fishing. Lower right: the dragon bow on a replica of a Viking ship displayed next to the fisherman's memorial park.
