Alaska 2007—Steller Sea Lions

Steller sea lions thrive in Southeast Alaska, in contrast to the Aleutian Islands, where their populations are declining. This colony is near The Brothers Islands, in the heart of Frederick Sound. Curious juveniles show a lot of interest in the Delphinus, cavorting around the boat for over an hour.
